This book examines the influence of gender relations and gender bounded production spaces on varietal selection of Yucatec Maya staple crops maize (Zea mays L.) and squash (Cucurbita spp.) in the village of Yaxcabá in the Yucatan Peninsula, Southeast Mexico.
