A sociologist with specialization in "Gender and Development," Dr. Chineze J. Onyejekwe is currently adjunct faculty at the Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Department of Women's and Gender Studies. To broaden her educational career, she took a Masters degree in Industrial and Labor Relations (MILR) and subsequently, a Doctorate degree in Sociology at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and the University of Durban-Westville (now University of Kwazulu-Natal), Durban, South Africa, respectfully. She believes that living in many countries has increased her understanding of different cultures. Dr. Onyejekwe has also written extensively on various aspects of gender and development issues… – with a special focus on women in the Global South.
