Barbara Seagram of Toronto is the owner of one of North America's largest bridge schools. She is a Master Teacher and a Director of the American Bridge Teachers' Association. Her previous books include the award-winning 25 Bridge Conventions You Should Know and Bridge: 25 ways to Compete in the Bidding (both with Marc Smith), and The Pocket Guide to Bridge (with Ray Lee).

Linda Lee is an editor & writer for "The New York Times". She frequently contributes to the Style, Arts & Leisure, & Business sections.
