Christian Moen is a freelance writer based in Washington, D.C. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston University and his Master of Arts in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. He has worked as an editor at the headquarters of the National Air and Space Administration. He has written for the Washington Post, Smithsonian, washingtonpost.com, and Preservation magazine online. Despite Washington's relatively southern climate, winter months still find him migrating to Southeast Florida to enjoy the tropical climate and exciting nightlife of Miami Beach.
