Tom Fox is Professor of English at California State University, Chico. He regularly teaches first-year writing, as well as graduate and undergraduate courses in composition. He directs the Northern California Writing Project and helps administer the university composition program.

The Billiard Congress of America sanctions billiards tournaments throughout the United States. The BCA’s home office is in Iowa City, Iowa. R. A. Dyer is a contributor to the nation’s premier pool magazine, Billiards Digest. He is currently a statehouse reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegraph and, before that, he was a reporter for The Houston Chronicle, where he was nominated for a Pulitzer prize. Mr. Dyer is also the author of Hustler Days. He lives in Austin, Texas.
