KAROLYN A. GAZELLA is a research journalist and health writer, the founding publisher of the journal Integrative Medicine, and currently executive director of a nonprofit alternative healing program in Boulder, Colorado.
Mark Hyman, MD is a physician, scholar and author. He is the founder and medical director of the UltraWellness Center and a columnist for The Huffington Post. Hyman graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's in Asian Studies. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Ottawa and completed his postgraduate training at the University of California, San Francisco.
