Elin Pendleton has been painting since the age of 9 and selling her paintings since 1983. When she was in her teens, she was recognized for her artistic talent by the late Millard Sheets, and since then she has studied and painted in South America, Central America, and Mediterranean Europe. She is traditionally trained, with a bachelor's degree in fine art from San Diego State University. Elin's award-winning paintings are found in both private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe. She has studied with noted artists, and she is a skilled teacher who conducts workshops for aspiring painters. Elin's home and studio are located in the mountainous terrain north of… the Temecula wine country of southern California. Perched high on a hill, the studio overlooks the massive mountains of the San Jacinto and San Gorgonio wilderness areas. She lives with her husband, who is a university professor, and a variety of domestic animals, all of which have found their way into her paintings.
