<p class="biography" <b Adrienne Mason</b is a writer, editor and life-long resident of Vancouver Island. A biologist and naturalist/interpreter, she is the managing editor of <i KNOW: The Science Magazine for Curious Kids</i . She has a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Victoria, and her articles have appeared in <i National Geographic Kids</i , <i WILD</i , <i Canadian Geographic</i , <i Georgia Straight</i , <i Beautiful BC</i , <i OWL</i , <i Ranger Rick</i , <i Boys' Life</i and <i Nature Canada</i . She lives in Tofino, BC, and enjoys hiking, beachcombing and exploring the coast with her husband… and two daughters.</p
Graphic designer and children's illustrator Claudia D�vila was born in Chile and now makes her home in Toronto. She was formerly the art director of Chirp and Chickadee magazines.
