Julia DarkRose Ray has been active in the Vampire culture since the 1980's. She was born to the Darkness. DarkRose was an early trailblazer and one of the original creators of the Vampire Sub-Culture/Community. Not as it now exists, but over a decade ago, when the community was more genuine and not filled with non-living Vampyres. Through her magazine, 'The DarkRose Journal', the book-'Something in the Blood'- as well as tons of media, including but not limited to, magazine interviews, internet interviews, daytime TV, nighttime TV, documentaries, syndicated TV shows,international and national radio, lectures, and reaching out to individuals in the community and all over the world.
