When I was an infant, my parents shortened my name Marjorie to Jerry and so it has stayed. For the past 35 years I have taught piano and recorder to a host of young children entering them for Exams in Trinity College, London and also Royal Schools of Music in London as well as entering them in the local Eisteddfods and Festivals in Durban, South Africa. Their results, in the main, have been very good. Thus I feel that I have an affinity with and understanding of small children and their likes and needs. When I was looking for books for my young grandson, I realised that many of the books available for that age group were not what I would have selected for Keagan. Thus, I decided to write… stories that I felt would engender the children's imagination and creativity and not promote fear. I was, also, aware of much of the bullying , mocking and scorn to which many of the students were subject and is prevalent in many schools. And so I have included in "Naughty Elves" a story of a young lad who was nearly pushed over the edge by some of his classmates - the circumstances in my story are totally different from what really happened.I hope that if you will buy these books either on e-books or paperback they will give your children much pleasure and joy. There are many more stories to come!
