Warren Goldie was born in Brooklyn, New York. He earned a B.S. degree in Biology from Towson University and has lived in Washington, D.C., Boston and Los Angeles. He has worked as a writer at Steven Spielberg's Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation and as a screenplay analyst for Bedford Falls Company. His essays on personal growth and spirituality have appeared in the Baltimore Sun, Baltimore City Paper and The Iowa Source. He was a Featured Playwright in Playwrights Showcase of the Western States and the Baltimore Playwrights Festival. Waking Maya is Warren Goldie's first novel. He lives in Fairfield, Iowa.
