The author Ulf Herrstr�mer born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1937, is a retired physician married to a nurse. The couple have three children and five grandchildren to date. 1996 Ulf Herrstr�mer won first price in a limerick contest for Swedish physicians and then discovered that he found it easy to write. He continued writing and has so far published two limerick books and now this crime novel.
