Heather Reese was born in Dansville, New York, in 1982. She earned her AS in Fine Arts from Finger Lakes Communityn College. In 2009 she married Ryan Reese. She received her Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children from the College of Brockport in 2010 and decided to move to Eugene OR to attend the Waldorf Teacher Training Program, but later quit to spend more time with her son, Emerson Marcus Rae and self-publish her children's books.
