Craig Mainprize is a singer/songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. Born in Orillia, Ontario, he moved to Ottawa in 2002 to study in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the University of Ottawa. He is a long standing member of the Ottawa music community both as a solo performer, and as a member of former bands Jetplanes of Abraham, and Phantom Shores. He also teaches, and has provided instruction in guitar, bass, harmonica, and songwriting, to more than a hundred students in the Ottawa area.
