Montana Kid Hammer orKidis a native Montanan, author andeducator whose abode is nestled in the hills just north of Fairbanks, Alaska.He enjoys horseback riding, snow skiing, hunting, reading history, cowboyaction shooting, and traveling far flung across the American West. Kid has afamily; six children, four grandchildren, is a retired military man, and haslived and traveled in the region of which he writes. He isa NRA Certified Instructor, SASS Range Officer One and Two, and a member ofboth the Single Action Shooting Society and the Golden Heart Shootist Societyof Fairbanks.
