TARA WEST is an Irish author based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her first novel, Fodder, was published by Blackstaff Press to widespread critical acclaim and established her reputation as a fresh and original new writer. Her short stories are punchy and pithy, and give a flavor of real life in Northern Ireland. Tara appears regularly at literary and cultural festivals, and has received a number of Arts Council Northern Ireland Awards for her writing. She works in advertising and is a member of the Society of Authors.
