Allen D. Mitchell was the coauthor of the first edition of The Prophets Dollar. The other author, Dr. Gary M. Gray, is deceased. Writing the book originally inspired Dr. Mitchell to study and work in the financial field. He holds a PhD in business, CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), and FLMI (Fellow in Life Management Institute). He is past president of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and also past president of Oklahoma State FLMI organization. He has owned firms in insurance, securities, and real estate. He served as president of Skylark Properties and, upon retirement, was executive vice president of Farmers and Ranchers Life. Dr. Mitchell has pastored… full time and part-time most of his life. Presently, he is pastor of Glencoe Methodist Protestant Church, Glencoe, Oklahoma.
