When Allison was around eight, a class assignment was to write on what they would do in the future. She dreamed of writing children's books. These stories were first written for her mom to read to her preschool classes when teaching specific letters of the alphabet. She studied communications/journalism at Messiah College.Allison, her husband Ricardo and their son Gabriel live in Malden, Massachusetts.When Laurel was a toddler in daycare, she would request blank pages of paper instead of coloring pictures. She wanted to express her creativity by drawing her own work. The love of art led her to study it in college. This is the first book for both of them.
