He also taught at language schools using modern and innovative techniques before opening a school in Spain. He studied engineering at college and, later in life, took business courses at Warwick University before venturing a Swedish housing business in the UK. As he approached retirement, he focused on translating literature as well… as collecting books and stamps. He was an amazing raconteur who liked to share his wealth of knowledge and lifetime experiences with family and friends. When Hans passed away in November 2011, part of his enormous book collection was donated to Westonbirt School in Gloucestershire (attended by his granddaughter).Liam McCann was born in Guildford, England, in 1973.
