Karl Beckstrand lives to share ideas; "My stories are born in real-life irony-so there's usually a surprise by the end." Raised in San Jose, California, USA, he has lived abroad and been a Spanish/English interpreter. He earned a B.A. in journalism from BYU and is pursuing an M.A. in international relations at APU. Beckstrand has worked in high-tech, marketing, non-profit and public policy. An engaging speaker and consultant, he has experience in TV, radio, studio and film-but is happiest singing as a rock front man.
