Rudell's goal of "making a difference in children's lives" has been achieved through her teaching of art and cultural studies in several private elementary schools. Being a self-described "idealistic realist," her personal mantra has always been "why can't we all just get along?!" Her inspiration for the Just Like Brothers series comes from her hope that people everywhere will look within themselves and reach out to others, despite differences.
