In elementary school, Julie Schwartz dreamed about rescuing her friends from danger and being lauded by her classmates. As co-author of The Haz-Mat Attack Pack, she seeks to give every child an opportunity to imagine what it's like to fight modern-day bad guys, and become a new breed of hero. Teri Tanenbaum's creative bent led her to invent stories with her four young children. They would even act them out and illustrate them. Although her children are now grown, she continues to share amusing stories and to let her imagination run wild. In The Haz-Mat Attack Pack, she shows how children are quirky and fun when with their friends.
