Robin lives on Vashon Island in Washington, where he and his wife, Arlene, enjoy magnificent views of Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound and family gatherings with their four children. He is a noted expert on Oz, and a published author who writes in several genres. His career has embraced the ministry, politics, real estate sales, psychiatric counseling, bus driving and being a librarian. Still much involved in church and politics, he also enjoys walks in the woods and creating new trails for the horseback riders in the area.

I am a man with a creative soul; thriving to share with the world. Growing up it was always a secret passion of mine to write, but could not place a finger on what variety to start in. However living on Long Island, having big dreams seemed to fade fast as life progressed. Sitting here, I find that those who succeeded were also the ones who walked away from their past. That's not something I wanted to do. For me the past has a lot of emotional baggage. Generally it can be considered a bad thing, however it is the fuel for my soul. It has inspired much of my work. Something I always say, "I live my life like an open book." Now I have a chance to share that book with the world.
