Joe Dochtermann began playing guitar and recording music on a Tascam 4-track at age 15, and never looked back. Year for year, his home studio grew, graduating to 8-, 16-, and 24-track studios, and finally a full-blown Pro tools rig. He had the privilege of working for renowned producer Danny Kortchmar and his veritable crew of studio musicians, and began producing and recording independent projects in the late 90?s and early 2000?s. He currently teaches guitar, writes songs, and self-published a series of books online. His band Troutband recently recorded their latest album, Monkey?s Wedding.
