Diann S. Gregory, B.S.N., M.S.Ed., ARNP, CNM, LCCE, has devoted more than 36 years to the nursing field as a staff nurse, patient educator, clinical specialist, author, and educator. Her career began in the Army Nurse Corps as an operating room nurse in Viet Nam, where she received a bronze star for her work in surgery and volunteer work at the local orphanage. Gregory recently retired after 21 years as a full-time educator, including 12 years at Miami Dade College, where her peers awarded her the college's highest honor for professors, the three-year Endowed Teaching Chair.
