Michael R. Fine is an avid outdoorsman and writer who has been paddling since he was a Boy Scout floating through the great waters of the Midwest. He explores Utah's wilds year-round, much of it in the cockpit of one of his kayaks. He lives with his family including paddle-dog Maggie in South Ogden, Utah.
