He is author of over 100 hours of radio drama and has written and presented hundreds of radio documentaries, features and weekly programs including J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia, and Gormenghast, for which he won a Sony Radio Award.
