Ray Hulingis a third-generation quahauger.  Drawing on his own history with shellfishing,  he has written extensively about marine affairs for the town of East Greenwich, Rhode Island.  Huling has a graduate degree from New York University's School of Journalism. In addition, he was a Fellow in the Reynolds Program in Social Entrepreneurship.  He is a contributor to on-line magazines and has written about new media and entertainment.
