Mikhail M. AGREST, was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1949. At a young age, Mikhail absorbed the love of Physics, Mathematics, Philosophy and Religion. At the age of two, while bouncing on Andrei Sakharov?s knee during Sakharov?s long discussions of issues with Mates Agrest, Mikhail?s father, Mikhail also absorbed a love for Humanism because of its positive meaning. Mikhail M. Agrest attended Leningrad State University in Leningrad, USSR, where he received his MS in Mathematics and Mechanics, with a focus on Fluid Mechanics. His Ph.D. in Physics & Mathematics is from the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, where he performed research in the field of membrane science and technology for almost 20…
