Author Alexandra Koslow is the typical New York gal-about-town: single and obsessed with finding "the one" and the ultimate beauty treatment. She has worked in advertising, mixology (bartending), and publishing. She lives in Hoboken, N.J. Lysa Hawke uses her love of retro objects as inspiration for many of her illustrations. She attends the School of Visual Art in Manhattan and lives with her husband and cat in New Jersey.
