Ronald B. Woods, PhD, is an award-winning performance coach with Human Performance Institute, a consultant to the United States Tennis Association, and an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida. He received his PhD from Temple University. He has 40 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and administrator of sports.Previously, he spent 20 years with the United States Tennis Association. He was named the first director of player development of a program that assisted in the development of top junior players into touring professional players—including Pete Sampras, Venus and Serena Williams, and Jennifer Capriati.
