Linda Lael Miller Linda Miller was born in Spokane, Washington and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She began writing when she was ten years old after a teacher praised her for a story she had written. Through a correspondence course, she sold over thirty stories to magazines like "True Confessions" and "True Romance." Her dream was to write books and she sold her first two novels in 1983, "Fletcher's Woman,"which made the best sellers list. Her first hardcover novel was "Pirates" (1995) followed by "Knights" (1996).
