Myself and Sujata, we hail from India.We migrated to US along with memories of childhood and youth. Now that we are parents, just like every immigrant we crave to introduce our kid to the culture and values from our upbringing. It gets challenging to teach something while you are in midst of adjusting to a different culture yourselves.We both work in different disciplines, have different styles, different backgrounds but it is the upbringing of our son that brings us on the same page. That exact place where we meet, is being captured and reflected in our stories. Where I can express in words she can illustrate them beautifully, Where I put it in black on white, She adds color to it. You get… the idea!These stories is our attempt to share a glimpse of our childhood days with our son. He is our inspiration to write short stories which have meaning to them and provide teaching in some shape or form.
