As a young child growing up in a working class family in the 50s and 60s, I have always been interested in Science. Naturally, I enjoyed Science Fiction stories. My favorite Science Fiction story was the H. G. Wells classic, "The Time Machine." The idea that a man could build a machine that would allow him to move through the fourth dimension to a future time was fascinating to me.After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the United States Air Force. I was assigned to the Strategic Air Command. I spent my first year in Southeast Asia as combat support for the Vietnam War.After returning to the United States, I spent my remaining time maintaining the jet engines on the B-52 Bomber.… After my enlistment ended, I started my career in the Electronics industry. I worked for thirty years testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic devices. When I was laid off from my Test Engineer position in 2001, I became depressed because I couldn't find another job. I began to write blogs on the Internet that helped me vent my frustration. I found that I enjoyed writing.I enrolled in a college course for novel writing in 2007 and finished the course in 2011. Since my entire life has been devoted to Science and technology, writing Science Fiction was the natural genre for me.
