Mary C. English is Associate Professor of Classics and General Humanities at Montclair State University where she has taught Latin at all levels, including a seminar on the methodology of teaching Latin. She was the recipient of the American Philological Association's 2007 Award for Excellencein Teaching at the College Level. Since the Fall of 2003, she has been Editor of The Classical Outlook, the peer-reviewed journal of the American Classical League. For the past decade, she has also worked as a reader for the AP Latin examinations. Georgia L.
