Cindy Spring is the director of Wisdom Circles in Oakland, California.nbsp; A wisdom circle is a way for small groups of people to create a safe space within which to be trusting, authentic, caring and open to change. Her work with wisdom circles has taken her into the activist world for the past several years. She worked with Roberto Vargas and Joseph Tieger, taking wisdom circles into racial diversity trainings. Then she moved into environmental activism and became very involved in Earth Day 2000, where I introduced the circle process as well.
