Afsaneh Nahavandi is professor and chair of Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego and emeritus professor at Arizona State University.� Previously she was associate dean of the ASU College of Public Programs and the director of the MBA Program and professor of Management at Arizona State University West. Her teaching and research interests include leadership, culture, ethics, and teams. She is author of a top leadership text, The Art and Science of Leadership, Seventh Edition .
