Damon Wayans was born in New York City, New York on September 4, 1960. He is an award-winning actor, stand-up comedian, writer, and producer. He made his film debut in Beverly Hills Cop. His other films include The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne, The Great White Hype, and Blankman. He appeared on numerous television shows including In Living Color and My Wife and Kids. He is the author of Bootleg and the novel Red Hats.
