Barry Sanders has recently retired as Professor of the History of Ideas from Pitzer College. He is the author of eleven books, including A Is For Ox and Sudden Glory. Barry and his wife currently divide their time between Pasadena, California, and Portland, Oregon. He currently holds a five-year appointment as Fulbright Senior Scholar.
