Fu is a member of the Association of Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Systems and in 2008 was named honorary director of ArcGIS Education and Application Research Center at the Henan University in China. nbsp; Jiulin Sun is academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering. She has authored and coauthorednbsp;four books on the topics of scientific data and GIS.
