Art Wolfe is one of the most celebrated nature and wildlife photographers of our day. His passion is for creating books - 45 in 25 years - and for photographing for them. While two of these books, "Light on the Land" and "Migrations", were recognized by "Graphis" magazine (Switzerland) among the 100 best designed books released in the 1990's, in 1998 his peers recognized him as the Outstanding Nature Photographer of the year and the National Audubon Society presented him its first-ever Rachel Carson Award. In 2000 he was awarded the Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography in Nature and Environment.
