She is also a visiting associate professor at Bridgewater State University, teaching in both the Sociology and Criminal Justice departments. In addition to her academic career, Professor Coole has worked as a victim/witness advocate for the Massachusetts District Attorney's office, a program developer for Community Resources for Justice in Boston, Massachusetts, and a federal probation officer for the districts of Vermont and Massachusetts.
