Brett Handley is the POE Master Teacher and POE end-of-course exam Coordinator and a technology teacher at Wheatland-Chili Middle School/High School, a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) school, where he teaches the Magic of Electrons Unit of the PLTW Gateway To Technology middle school program to eighth graders along with the following PLTW high school classes: IED/DDP, CIM, and POE. He was Coordinator for the PLTW CIM end-of-course exam and the Coordinator for the PLTW POE end-of-course exam. While teaching at Brockport, Mr. Handley served as an author on the PLTW IED/DDP curriculum re-write team and as a PLTW Associate Director of Curriculum, working extensively on the IED/DDP curriculum… rewrite and field test, the PLTW Summer Training Institute (STI) online pre-assessments, the IED/DDP end-of-course exam, review of the ENGINEERING DESIGN: AN INTRODUCTION and Virtual Academy professional development lessons. Mr. Handley has a Bachelor of Science Degree in K-12 Technology Education and a Master of Science Degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Engineering Education.
