Bruce M. Whitehead serves as an elementary school principal in School District #4, Missoula , Montana and as an adjunct professor at the University of Montana . His career includes appointments to numerous national and international committees as well as being elected as president of the Montana Association of Elementary School Principals and president of the Montana State Reading Association. He also served as chairman of the Montana Governor�s Task Force on Technology. As a Distinguished Alumni recipient at the University of Montana , he has authored or coauthored six books in the fields of administration, reading, and technology, and written numerous articles published in major educational journals. Additional honors and awards include The International Reading Association�s Presidential Service Award, NAESP�s National Distinguished Principal Award, Milken Family Foundation's National Outstanding Educator Award, The John F.
