Dr. Joycelyn Pollock has been a professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Texas State University-San Marcos (formerly Southwest Texas State University) since 1993. She previously served as a probation and parole officer in the state of Washington and a program review specialist for the New York Department of Correctional Services. She taught law and criminology at the University of Turku, Finland, as a Fulbright fellow and conducted training in the areas of criminology, sexual harassment and ethics.
