Julius Wellhausen (1844-1918) was a German biblical scholar who was best known for his study of the Pentateuch. He argued that the Pentateuch was not written by Moses but was the result of oral history & tradition. He is less well-known for his New Testament research, in which he advocated the primacy of Mark over Q.
David Kornacker is a writer and member of the American Literary Translators Association. He was the manager of the French book offices for the French Ministry for Culture. One of Kornacker's most challenging translations for the French Modernist Library was Marcel Benabou's Why I Have Not Written Any of My Books.
