Christine McDannell and Travis Harrup are the Founders and co-owners of Social Starfish, a full service social media company based in San Diego, CA that designs and runs social media campaigns for restaurants.In 2010, Christine sold Cleanology, an eco-friendly house cleaning company that she built from the ground up using social media and internet strategies. She is also the owner of Adopt-A-Christmas-Tree(tm), which is marketed solely through social media and online PR/advertising. Due to her online efforts, her companies have been mentioned in Oprah Magazine, listed as one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 most Innovative Companies, in the San Diego Union Tribune, on Fox News, and on NBC… News. In her spare time she enjoys reading, running, cooking, and traveling.Before founding Social Starfish, Travis assisted in management of an internet retail company that was a top-performer in its niche. He was responsible for controlling the company's growth via online marketing sources. During his tenure, the business' profits grew by over 300%. Prior to this, Travis worked in the executive offices of US Airways after graduating from the University of Virginia in 2000. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, skiing, movies, and travel.
