Dr. Connie Mayfield is Dean of Fine Arts at Cerritos College in California. Prior to that she was Professor of Music at Kansas City Kansas Community College, where she taught music theory and music technology and served as Coordinator of the Music Department. Mayfield was a Fulbright scholar to London, England, and completed her Ph.D. in music theory at the University of Kansas.
