Kairol Rosenthal is a patient advocate for young adults with cancer. She is a lecturer on healthcare issues at Columbia College and a teacher at Gilda's Club. With ten years of public speaking experience, Rosenthal presents interactive discussion forums for students, cancer survivors, and healthcare professionals nationwide and has been interviewed in Harpers' Bazaar. Her writing on cancer and young adult identity was published in Help Me Live: Twenty Things People With Cancer Want You To Know (Ten Speed Press, 2005) and she served as a consulting author for Twenty-Something, Twenty-Everything: A Young Woman's Guide to Balance and Direction in Her Quarter-Life (New World Library, 2005).
