Eda G. Goldstein is currently a professor at the N.Y.U. School of Social Work. A frequent lecturer on borderline and narcissistic disorders, Dr. Goldstein has authored numerous articles and chapters as well as the widely read text, Ego Psychology and Social Work Practice .

Kathryn Karusaitis Basham and Dennis Miehls are both associate professors of clinical social work at Smith College School for Social Work. Each maintains a private practice in clinical social work in Northampton, Massachusetts.

Shoshana Ringel, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the University of Maryland - Baltimore School of Social Work. She is co-author of two previous books, Attachment and Dynamic Practice (with J. Brandell), and Advanced Clinical Practice: Relational Principles and Techniques (with E. Goldstein and D. Miehls). She has also published numerous articles, and was certified on the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) by Mary Main and Eric Hesse. Dr. Ringel maintains a private practice in Baltimore.
